Where are you from?
I’m from Elk Grove Village, IL
What do you do for fun?
I have two fur babies, Boomer and Pearl that I LOVE to spoil. Boomer, my dog, goes everywhere with me! My boyfriend and I enjoy being outdoors such as camping with my family, hiking, swimming, going to baseball games, etc. I love having movie/relaxing nights with my boyfriend or girl friends.
What’s your favorite inspirational quote, song or book?
My favorite inspirational songs are “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten or “Everything’s gonna be alright” by Kenney Chesney and David Lee Murphy
I have a lot of favorite inspirational quotes, but one of my favorites is “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think” by Winnie the Pooh
Who do you love working with?
I absolutely love working with young children. I also have a big heart for struggling teenagers. As a young therapist, I have a lot of energy and am ready for whatever comes to me.
What is your favorite thing to help people overcome?
I personally have struggled with anxiety my whole life, so being able to teach what I have learned to cope with it is something I am very passionate about.
What is your approach to therapy, what’s your vibe?
I love a calm, relaxing therapeutic setting, with some fun and creativity added!
What excites you most about your job?
I love being a part of happy endings. I also love building relationships with my clients. It is so rewarding when I have clients open up to me, because I understand how scary it can be!
What inspired you to become a therapist?
Growing up, I struggled with anxiety myself. I never knew what it was. I was really scared. I was on edge all the time, I hated being away from my home , my parents, I cried.. a lot, etc. Once I started my own therapy when I was in college, I felt like a whole new person. That is exactly what I want to help others with. I don’t want others to feel those scary feelings for a good chunk of their lives. I want them to get the resources they need to help better themselves. Feeling insecure, scared, lonely, can be such a scary feeling. The good news is that there are so many people who want to help change lives! I am here to help in any way I can. ☺
