The good thing about inspiration?
It’s contagious. It spreads. Hopefully you catch it. Hopefully you spread it.
Inspiring Awards Winner : Melissa Siegal
Why was Melissa nominated for the “Inspiring Others Award”?
“Melissa is one of my oldest (actually she’s younger than me by 3 months ?) and dearest friends. We met when we were infants, living on the same block, and the rest is fabulous history. She is the best mom to a precious little boy (and one on the way), a sensational business woman, running her own team within @Properties, and the type of best friend that knows everything about you, the good and bad, and is there for every wonderful moment and the moments that aren’t so wonderful. Melissa is fiercely loyal and stands by her family and friends through it all. She has faced many challenges and always seems to prevail. She is superwoman, but totally relatable and makes time for those she loves and cherishes. She has inspired me to be confident in my status as a working mom of two littles and encourages me to always take care of myself and be my best “me.””

We sat down for an interview with Melissa. Here’s her inspiring story for YOU!!
How have you grown, and what challenges have you overcome to get where you are now?
I started my real estate career by joining a team and learned from my team leader and then ultimately formed my own team. Starting a real estate business at 22 years old was extremely tough because my network was not buying and selling at the time. I worked around the clock on rentals and one by one those rental clients turned into buyers and sellers.
What are you most proud of in your journey?
Building a successful business from the ground up.
What worries or struggles do you face today?
Balancing work and family life has been harder than I thought it would be especially in a business like mine that is 24/7.
What is some advice you’d like to give your younger self, or other people along their journey?
Never ever give up. Success does not come overnight. The work you put in now will be the outcome of your future.
Thank you Melissa!!!
