GOOD NEWS!! Starting Feb 1, all our therapists will be In-Network with UnitedHealthCare!!

Inspire is one of the first private practices in the country to get a group contract!!! We’ve worked really hard to get it, so that we can continue to offer you excellent & affordable support.

If you’d like to have a 15-min free therapist matchmaking call, or verify your insurance coverage, call our awesome Intake Team (aka our matchmakers!) They’re excited to talk to you and match you with the right therapist.

If you haven’t seen a therapist yet, or are new to Inspire. Here’s what will happen in your Matchmaking Call.

The Intake Team will listen to what’s going on and understand what you need to help you choose your therapist, location & appointment time.

This amazing team has heard it all and is part of the Inspire family, so you are in good hands. They know the therapists and LOVE matching people with the right therapist. They’ll also get your insurance information so you can know your insurance plan and cost, if any, for counseling services.

How are you holding up this holiday season??? I’m holding out a big hug & warm smile just for you.

I know (all too well) how emotionally & physically exhausting the holidays can be.

That doesn't mean there are not happy, exciting, sparkly, fun moments.

The truth is, holidays are imperfect moments with imperfect humans. This time of year can be wonderful and challenging -- all at the same time.

Holidays also stir up memories from the past. People we miss. Special memories and places we can't recreated or revisit. Holidays have a special way of raising our expectations for how it will feel to be with family. How our kids will react to fun plans and gifts. How others will see you.

We see the sparkle and fun from everyone else's holiday experiences. But we don't often see the reality sprinkled in at the same time.

We're here to hold space for YOU. Space to tell your truth. A safe place to feel the good, the real, the sad, the disappointments--and celebrate your personal victories!!

We've whipped up a quick Recipe for your Holiday MOOD and personal experience (the one thing you have control over).

How much time do we think, plan and prep for holiday food?? There are thousands of recipes for food - but how about for your mood? Food can be perfect. People will never be. But you DO have control over one thing: how you react and let things impact your mood.

Being a husband & wife team is really awesome on its best days! It’s such a special feeling to look over in the middle of a meeting and see this guy. My college sweetheart. Sometimes I forget we’re all grown up. Well almost … 😜 Exploring the world together and taking risks together is awesome.

But it’s also hard!! I would never snap at anyone like I can at John. At home it can be really hard to switch to “off mode.”We do a lot together. Sometimes when we walk the dogs or workout, I feel self conscious that people may be thinking “really?” 🙄 not that I’d blame them, I know it’s not usual.

A good friend joked that we must need therapy. And I said, “yes! We see a therapist 3x a week!!” At first I think she thought I was kidding. But she soon realized I wasn’t! We do one couples session + individual each week.

It’s actually something I’m proud of. It keeps us on track. Arguments are shorter, sweet moments longer. After 20+years, I’m still learning new stuff about John (mostly what I do that annoys him LOL!!).

Therapy has been an investment in our happiness. I’m not saying we’re perfect or our way is the way for everyone else. I just say it because sometimes we forget to show the real *hard* work that goes behind the smiling pics.

We are as real and imperfect as you can get. But whatever it is that I want to succeed, it takes is small choices consistently to get you what you want.

It’s the little things you do that count— they make all the difference.

Canyons we’re made from gentle water consistently wearing the rock down. The Redwood trees began as a tiny seed in the ground. The water and the seed just did a little every day. They didn’t get discouraged. They didn’t give up. They didn’t have some dramatic declaration. They just plotted away. Day in. Day out. And they turned into something majestic.

The whole reason I started Inspire was because I saw what support and counseling did in my life. Not dramatic, but consistently better, inch by inch. I want that for everyone. I want that for you!! Whatever you want, happiness, health, wealth, it’s all available to you.
