Hello and welcome! My name is Jennifer Lynch. In addition to being a passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I’m also a wife, mom to 3 kids, 2 French Bulldogs and 2 cats. I truly understand the challenges busy families are facing today. I also know how important mental health is and have seen the impact medication can be for kids and adults striving to achieve a positive, focused and calm mental health.

I bring 10+ years experience as a Registered Nurse, before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. During my training, I developed a special interest in the treatment of child and adolescent mood disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), childhood trauma and anxiety disorders.

I understand (personally and professionally) the challenges kids and adolescents face with mental health struggles. I can attest to the benefit of counseling and psychotherapy along with medication management when needed.

My clients and families can expect to have a welcoming and comforting environment. I pride myself on building a personal connection with each client. I take the time to get to know my clients as individuals, learn about their background, values, and goals, and tailor, my approach to meet their unique needs.

I communicate in a clear and supportive manner. I explain treatment options, discuss potential outcomes, and answer any questions or concerns that clients may have in a way that is easy to understand. I offer guidance, motivation, and reassurance, and celebrate progress and milestones along the way. Overall, my clients can expect to feel heard, supported, and valued when working with me.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges with empathy and understanding. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we will work towards creating a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Your experience and journey are valuable in understanding the challenges you may be facing. I look forward to working with you to explore how we can support your mental health and wellbeing moving forward.

For Fun…

I love spending quality time with my children by playing games, going on outings, thrift store shopping, and creating lasting memories together. I also love my self-care practices. Balancing the demands of work and family can be challenging, so I like to prioritize exercise, mediation, and music therapy to help me relax and recharge. I am committed to lifelong learning, so I also enjoy seminars relating to mental health and podcasts.

I love socializing with friends and family by throwing parties for birthdays, holidays or just to have a friend painting party! Everyone can enjoy a good artistic expression night! I would highly recommend it as a creative outlet that is highly therapeutic. As a family we love taking a vacation every year to Florida spending time together on the beach and sightseeing.
