Hello, I’m Lindsey! I am incredibly grateful and excited to walk with you through this work.

If you’re looking for a safe, empowering, and empathetic space to express yourself with clinically-proven tools to enjoy your life and thrive, you’re in the right place.

If you work with me, you’ll get a combination of humor and kindness in a positive environment to support you reaching your goals. I have experience working with preschool-aged children up to older adults in various settings.

I’m trained in several clinical methods and tools — but what I’ve learned most of all is that one size does NOT fit all. I tailor my approach uniquely to help you achieve results as quick as possible. My tool box includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Strength -Based, Client-Centered and Trauma Treatment modalities.

I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, studied at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad and got my Master of Social Work from Boston College, where I specialized in working with children, youth, and families, and trauma.

Kids

Early childhood is such a significant part of development. In my work with children, I’ve learned the importance of creating a strong relationship through games, play, or art that allows communication and progress toward goals. I also know how much a family can be impacted when their child is struggling. I believe in creating a collaborative and supportive environment
with the family that supports the child in this journey.

Adolescents

Adolescence is a time of growing up, finding independence, and self-discovery. From my personal and professional experience, it can be challenging to navigate all the changes and new experiences that come when you are a pre-teen or teenager. My goal is to help you navigate these changes and challenges in areas like school, friendships, relationships, and sense of self.

College and Young Adults

College and young adulthood are challenging, confusing, and exciting times. From embarking on a new educational journey, starting a career, navigating relationships, and finding yourself, college and young adulthood are full of changes and unique experiences. I can relate to the stress and anxiety these significant life changes can have on an individual through my personal experiences in these life stages. I aim to guide you through this time of self-discovery and transition in a safe, open, and collaborative environment.

For Fun…

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, catching up on my favorite reality TV shows, and reading a good book. I am also a self-proclaimed “foodie,” so I love to try new restaurants or cook new recipes!

I look forward to working with you!
