I am a Chicago native, mom of two recent Lake Forest Academy graduates, and a former advertising and marketing professional. I am passionate about counseling and maintain an optimistic view on each person’s ability to reach their full potential in all areas of their lives.

Navigating life’s challenges can be overwhelming — whether you’re adjusting to a major life transition, parenting a neurodivergent child, or facing the complexities of a relationship in distress. As a psychotherapist and working mother, I understand how difficult it can be to juggle all the roles and responsibilities life demands, while still trying to stay connected to your own sense of self and well-being. I believe therapy should be a safe space for growth, reflection, and healing. In my practice, I bring authenticity, empathy, and lived experience to our work together in a confidential space that honors your experiences.

From relationship stress to life’s transitions, I work collaboratively to empower my clients to achieve symptom reduction and personal fulfillment. I work with adults across the lifespan, often struggling with anxiety or depression, using a variety of evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Family Systems, and Gottman Method. Rooted in psychodynamic, person-centered, and neuroscience-informed therapies, my practice reflects the rigorous training I received at Northwestern University.

I understand that reaching out for help can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Let’s work together on your journey toward meaningful growth and lasting change

Creative Background & Corporate Experience

Prior to becoming a counselor, I enjoyed a successful 20+ year career in advertising and marketing, having worked at DDB Worldwide, Paramount Pictures, and Blue Dog Agency. As a Vice President at DDB Worldwide, I learned the impactful power of strategic collaboration and the essential role of empathy in leadership not only in Fortune 500 client relationships, but also those of my immediate and interdepartmental teams. As an entrepreneur, co-founder and COO of Blue Dog Agency, I learned to harness the courage needed to take calculated risks and the strategic vision necessary to navigate uncharted territory.

At a young age I became involved in both theatre and creative writing with a passion for emotional expression and storytelling. I have found that my creative and strategic background combines to fuel my agile approach to counseling. We all have a story to tell and complex emotions to sift through. I’m thrilled to help my clients author their own stories more authentically as they navigate the complexities of life through positive mental health.

Relationship Stress & Parenting Challenges

As a working woman and mother, I’ve learned first-hand the challenges faced in today’s world of juggling life’s myriad responsibilities. I know full well that it is a struggle to find balance and meaning in relationships while working, running a home, parenting kids, and volunteering as a member of the community, all while trying to take care of oneself.

As a parent, I have encountered many facets of neurodiversity raising my boys. As a spouse, I have faced relational challenges including separation, divorce and co-parenting. As a friend, I have nurtured decades long friendships that have become family. On my journey I am grateful to have worked closely with caring, empathetic, knowledgeable counselors who supported me as I learned how to navigate and overcome challenges.

The pressures and expectations on ourselves, our relationships, and our families can feel overwhelming. From relationship stress to life’s transitions, I understand these challenges both personally and professionally and am committed to empowering my clients to achieve self actualization and personal fulfillment.

For Fun…

I love traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. I enjoy thoughtful conversations with friends, reading books, watching movies, and spending time in nature walking my dog. I love theater and music, as well as museums of all types. I believe that we are all capable of growth and we all deserve grace.
