Hi, my name is Hannah! I am originally from Winnetka and recently moved downtown Chicago. I spent the last decade on the East Coast, attending high school at Tabor Academy and later earning my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University, where I majored in Psychology and completed a dual master’s in School Counseling and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Before my time at Inspire, I worked as a School Counselor in an independent school setting, supporting children in Pre-K through 12th grade. Working in a private school environment allowed me to develop a strong relationship with children and partner with families navigating a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This experience solidified my passion for helping children understand and work through their unique experiences.

Counseling has been a deeply meaningful part of my personal journey, shaping the way I understand myself and move through the world. After unexpectedly losing a parent in my early twenties, I found myself trying to hold everything together on my own, until I began opening up in the counseling space. Losing a parent was one of the most difficult and defining experiences of my life, but having a steady, supportive presence—someone who could sit with me, help me make sense of my emotions, and offer perspective—was transformative and ultimately led me to want to be on the other side of that relationship, offering the same support to others.

I believe therapy should be a space of warmth, honesty, and safety, where you can process what you’re going through without pressure or judgment. Sometimes, it’s about having someone in your corner who isn’t part of your day-to-day life—someone who can help you step back, untangle your thoughts, and see things more clearly.

I take a client-centered, individualized approach to therapy, which means our work is shaped around you—your experiences, your goals, and what feels most helpful. I am dedicated to creating a space that feels warm and easy to be in.

I believe therapy can be both meaningful and human—we’ll laugh when it makes sense, sit with the hard stuff when needed, and gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll explore what’s coming up for you, make sense of patterns, and find ways to move forward that feel doable and authentic to your unique journey.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Seeking support isn’t always easy, and the fact that you’re here speaks to your strength and willingness to grow. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about therapy, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

For Fun…

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dog, Shelby. I also find joy in live music, any sporting event, and traveling.
