Hi, I’m Elliana Brody, DNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I provide psychiatric medication support for children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on experience from both inpatient and outpatient settings.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bradley University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois Chicago.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring warmth, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping my clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.
My training has given me a well-rounded foundation in both therapy and medication management, and I’ve had the privilege of working with clients in a variety of settings and stages of care.
Prior to joining Inspire, I served as a registered nurse on the Adolescent and Young Adult Behavioral Health unit at Endeavor Health in Highland Park.
I believe medications can be an important tool in supporting mental health, especially when symptoms are overwhelming or interfere with daily life. At the same time, I recognize that medications are not the whole story. My goal is to help clients make informed choices about what works best for them and to use medications thoughtfully, as part of a comprehensive plan for well-being.
I understand that people have mixed feelings about medication. Some are hesitant to start, while others have tried many options. I see medication as just one piece of the puzzle, sometimes essential, sometimes temporary, and most effective when paired with therapy and self-care. Together, we’ll find the approach that feels right for you.
