Maddison has a huge heart for helping people find balance, hope, and light in life. Prior to private practice, she worked with adolescents at a nationally renowned residential center for OCD and anxiety treatment. Her experience at Rogers Behavioral Health solidified her passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety-related disorders and treating the whole person. She specializes in working with individuals with anxiety disorders, OCD, transitional concerns, low self-esteem, and academic concerns.

Values family & friends

Maddison grew up in Houston, Texas, and Batavia, Illinois. She attended graduate school at Marquette University and was ecstatic to move back to Illinois following graduation. She highly values her relationships with family and friends, and also understands the impact that substance use, mental illness, and familial conflict can have on a family. She strives to help individuals, couples, and families find balance, hope, and light in life. Maddison uses a strengths-based, holistic approach to counseling that builds on clients’ resiliencies in order to help work through challenges and improve well-being

Experience with nationally renowned OCD & Anxiety residential center

Prior to private practice, Maddison worked with adolescents at a nationally renowned residential center for OCD and anxiety treatment in Wisconsin. Her experience at Rogers Behavioral Health solidified her passion for working with adolescents with anxiety-related disorders and treating the whole person. While at Rogers, Maddison also worked with adults and children with varying diagnoses, ranging from eating disorders, mood disorders, and addiction. During graduate school, Maddison interned at a local university as a college counselor. There, she focused on helping students with academic concerns, academic anxiety, and adjustment as a college student.

This means that she values you as a person and knows that you are so much more than whatever it may be that you’re struggling with.

For fun

In her spare time, Maddison loves to spend time with her husband and French Bulldog, Bear. She is passionate about traveling, rowing, animal advocacy, and anything Harry Potter-related.
