Jennifer is completely dedicated to her work and helping kids & adolescents find their voice. She is passionate and cares about her “people” like their her own family. If you smell banana bread at the office — you’ll know who brought it! She is warm, has a huge heart, and a zest for life and anything adventurous.
Prior to working at Inspire, Jennifer has worked in several Youth & Family Services, and has worked with many crisis issues, including Suicidal Ideation, Traumas, Emotional/Physical Abuse and Domestic Violence. She is gently equipped to handle just about anything, and has a heart for people hurting–no matter how big or small it may seem.
She loves animals and the power they have to heal. Jennifer secretly hopes to turn her “furball” into a therapy dog.
She wants to give children and teens a voice when they have none, help create communication within the family, help the family understand this life transition and remind them what it was like when they were this age. To work on compromising and finding middle ground everyone can agree on. A way to make the family whole again with love, support, hope, communication, and empathy. Not just for the kids, but the parents as well.
Jennifer believes, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If only one remembers to turn on the light.” Albus Dumbledore/J.K. Rowling. Jennifer loves helping kids find that light for themselves. She is a huge lover of animals (aka “fur-babies”). She’s much like a kid at heart and is easy for kids & teens to quickly trust and relate.
In her free time, she loves being outdoors, hiking, skiing, ice skating, music, dancing, concerts and sports. Jennifer values the importance of family and supports the family to feel whole again with love, support, hope, communication, and empathy. Ultimately, Jennifer wants her clients to find happiness, and her warm smile and laugh help guide the way, no matter what circumstance.
