Is your child struggling with self-esteem, behavior, depression, anxiety, ADHD, transitions, family relationships, friendships or their identity?
Emily comes highly experienced for children & teens who are struggling– both personally and professionally.
Children & Adolescents
Emily grew up in a loving home, but struggled a lot in her teen years. Talking with her own therapist, she was able to strengthen her understanding of herself, increase her confidence, learned coping skills and improved her relationship with her parents and family.
While those years were not pleasant, Emily wouldn’t trade them for anything. It was in those struggles that made her the successful woman she is today and gave her a passion for helping other kids and adolescents.
Emily’s personal experience helps kids relate, connect and feel understood.
Women & Seniors
In her professional experience, Emily has helped underserved and extreme cases of neglect, abuse and low-income families. She has helped women and families suffering from domestic violence, neglect/abuse by DCSF, and provided parenting support to families who’s children were in the custody of Child Protective Services.
Emily has a special place in her heart for serving the senior community. At the Jewish Family Service, she helped support Holocaust survivors through home visits, social services and goal plans. She also worked at North Shore Senior Center supporting seniors and their families.
Emily’s fun side
Emily has a huge heart. She’s a warm, open, animal-lover, who loves to laugh and make life fun! She is a big fan of “The Office” and loves just about any comedy.
In life, she believes laughter is the surprising secret to surviving tough times. In her personal life, she loves to laugh most with her fiance and her family in Arizona.
