Devin is an all-around, great guy. While he was THREE-SPORT VARSITY ATHLETE in High School, Varsity FOOTBALL player in College, teacher and Basketball Coach for the freshman boy at Marquette University High School, he ALSO has a BIG HEART for people in need, loves the guitar & ukulele and was an AmeriCorps Volunteer. In fact, Devin started a homeless outreach service program in college that received the National Leadership Award of “Character-In-Action” recognition by National Sigma Chi Mark V. Anderson.
Values the importance of family relationships
Devin comes from the North Shore. Growing up with two younger brothers, Devin has always been a natural care-taker and leader. While growing up, Devin moved from Ohio, Connecticut, Montana, Wisconsin and finally Illinois. During these moves in his adolescent years, he learned the importance of friends & family support during times of transition and change. His personal motto: “always support the family.”
Empowering self-control, inner-strength, discipline & balance
Devin helps people struggling with anxiety, anger, depression, discipline, behavior issues, concentration/focus, communication/relationships issues, difficulties at school, work and home. He empowers them to find self-control, discipline, balance and inner strength to improve relationships and SUCCESS at school, work and home.
Masculine identity & strength
Devin specializes in the male identity and what it means to become and be a man. He has led many retreats, camps and brings a wide range of professional counseling experience, including substance abuse and alcohol.
Devin understands the unique challenges young boys face as they grow up. He wants to empower them to be able to understand and appropriately control their feelings and behavior.
In Devin’s free time, he’s an avid weight-lifter, volunteer in the community and enjoys the outdoors/camping/hiking, along with playing his guitar & ukulele.
