Lauren is a licensed clinical professional counselor, public speaker and published writer. She founded Inspire as part of her mission to help people live their best life using clinical tools, neuroscience and research.
Lauren specializes in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, career support, college girls, moms of adolescents, moms of young children and couples.
In addition to counseling, Lauren gives talks, including a TEDx talk, as part of Inspire’s mission to educate, inspire and serve the community. She also holds seasonal workshops, open to the public, at her office.
Lauren is known for her energy, enthusiasm and goal-orientation. Her warmth and humor has her clients comfortable and motivated to improve their lives. Laura brings extensive experience from the Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (age 12-18) at Northwest Community Hospital as well as Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health (all ages), and several different school settings throughout the Chicagoland area (ages 5-15).
Laura specializes in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, academic issues, addictions, ADHD, autism, self-esteem, self-injury, trauma, mood disorders, anger management, operation defiant disorder (ODD), coping skills, grief and loss, life transitions, career counseling, peer issues, boys and girls issues. Katie specializes in couples and individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and relationship obstacles. And brings years of experience and healing to her sessions.
She believes her role as a clinician is to empower clients by focusing on their strengths, collaboratively creating goals and work towards positive outcomes together. She utilizes an integrative approach working in partnership with clients and couples towards practical solutions. She offers a warm, empathetic and supportive environment.
Katie is graduate of Loyola University Chicago where she earned her masters degree in social work with an emphasis in clinical mental health.
Becky Freeman-Murray, LCPC

Becky is a seasoned therapist with 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in autism (ASD), intellectual disabilities, IEP advocacy, anxiety, depression, life coaching, child life specialist, self esteem, parenting, and couples therapy.
Becky brings inpatient and outpatient experience from Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital as well as Clearbrook, and was a Child Life Specialist at Miami Children’s Hospital supporting families, individuals and children. Becky knows the value of supporting the entire family system, particularly parents and couples, when a child in the family is struggling, whether intellectually, emotionally or behaviorally.
Becky is a warm, positive, compassionate and empowering therapist. She believes in facing our struggles and looking at them as lessons so that we are empowered to live our most creative, fulfilling and passionate life possible. Becky believes the possibilities are endless when we face our struggles and do our work! She and her husband have five adult children and enjoy their relationship as partners and parents.

As part of Northwestern University’s nationally-renowned Master of Arts in Counseling Program, and a seasoned intern at Inspire Counseling Center, Amy brings warmth and experience to clients of all ages.
Amy is an emmy-nominated television journalist, wife, mom and longtime supporter for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms. With a heart for helping others, Amy is now focusing her passion in counseling and psychotherapy.
